Named after the phrase that translates into “in the blink of an eye, the 2020 Oogwink comes with a compressed frame of red florals before red spices and black peppercorn mingle with hints of cured sausages.
Medium to full-bodied, the palate displays fine-grained tannins with elegance and precision, offering up notes of peppercorn with dusty cherry flavors before somersaulting to a wonderfully spiced and delightful finish. It’s fantastic now, but I have no doubt it will be an elegant stunner once it has matured a few years longer in the bottle.

W.O. Stellenbosch (Polkadraai). 50% whole-bunch fermentation. Heady aromatics of dark berries, fynbos, pepper and spice. Good depth of fruit, fresh acidity and crunchy tannins – intensely flavoured with a nicely dry finish.
