About the property

Tempel Wines is a vineyard situated in the heart of the Northern Paarl Winelands, right next to the Bergrivier.

We provide comfortable Bed & Breakfast accommodation in four stylish and modern guest rooms, renovated in 2021. Each room is equipped with excellent beds featuring orthopedic mattresses and high-quality linens. Our wonderful breakfast includes freshly squeezed orange juice, high-quality coffee, homemade jams, freshly baked croissants, farm-fresh eggs from Uncle Luke’s farm, and the finest local cheeses and charcuterie.

Tempel Wines has no loadshedding or power cuts. We are energy self-sufficient by green energy (SOLAR panels + batteries).

During your stay at the vineyard, you can enjoy wine tasting and a guided tour of our working cellar adorned with graffiti artworks by local artists. The estate also boasts a 15-meter heated swimming pool with a martini ledge, offering breathtaking mountain views.

Our security team consists of six very friendly, well-trained, and well-behaved dogs. They happily greet each guest, alongside Tom and Tatyana 🙂

Tempel Wines resides in the heart of the Paarl Winelands, approximately 5-15 minutes (3-6 km) from restaurants and cafes.

The closest airport is Cape Town International Airport, located 50 minutes away (47 km).
